The Beasley Broadcast Group Launches Second Annual “Driven 2 Excel” Campaign

Bryce Johnson, Driven 2 Excel WinnerThe Beasley Broadcast Group “Driven 2 Excel” program is a community enhancement campaign designed to reward high school seniors in Cumberland County that have achieved high levels of academic achievement and exemplary attendance records throughout the 2013 – 2014 school year.

In conjunction with the Cumberland County School system and other community partners, the Beasley Broadcast Group has joined with Rick Hendrick Toyota Scion to reward qualifying students with fantastic incentives for scholastic performance. This year, Fort Bragg Credit Union has joined the campaign and will offer a total of $5,000 in scholarships.

Beginning in September of 2013, The Beasley Broadcast Group will launch the second annual “Driven 2 Excel” program.

To qualify for the program, a student must have no more than five absences during the campaign and achieve a weighted, cumulative G.P.A. of 3.2 or higher during the qualification periods.
